OUR EXPERTISE
FOR YOUR PRODUCT
Based on our extensive knowledge of the market, we develop future-oriented complete solutions, taking into account market developments, cost savings and environmental protection (reduction of CO2 emissions). In toolmaking, we focus on the development of tools for processing modern high-solid steels, i. e. material downgauging, and of technologies for reducing “angel hair”.
We are active in the following areas:
- Development and production of high-precision tools including product development
- Can seaming technology
- Spare parts and service for KARGES-HAMMER machines
- Special machine construction

Tools
We develop and manufacture complete single dies and multi dies as well as tool spare parts for the production of round and non-round deep-drawn 2-piece cans, conical and straight, as well as for round and non-round can ends including aerosol components.
Among others, our product range also includes tools for easy-open lids, twist-off caps and the overhaul and conversion of tools to new products and materials. Our tools can be designed for processing aluminium and tinplate. If requested, our scope of supply also includes the development of your product.

Can seaming technology
For fillers and can manufacturers, we offer the following based on our many years of know-how and the takeover of the complete seaming division of the Impress Group (formerly Schmalbach-Lubeca) for all types of seaming machines, such as LUBECA, Continental Can, FMC, Ferrum, Angelus etc:
- Spare parts (many of them according to original drawings)
- Seaming tools
- Overhaul of can seaming machines
- Seamer trainings
- Customer service and maintenance

KARGES- HAMMER
At the end of 2004, Maiko took over the know-how, the original drawings, experienced staff and the stock of spare parts for KARGES-HAMMER machines from Soudronic AG. Today we are in a position to define and supply almost every spare part and tool required for automatic presses, shears and complete end lines.
Most of the parts are manufactured based on the original drawings in our own workshop.
For all KARGES-HAMMER machines we offer:
- Spare parts and tools
- General overhauls and system optimizationsConversions to other products or materials and material downgauging
